And the mother and child: is that just an odd angle? The head looks as though it's removable and being held somehow.
It must be an awful challenge to photograph these.
I was thinking the same thing as you about the mother and child statue, Marly. I guess our thoughts were headed in the same direction.
In fact, maybe she and the second picture could exchange heads!
Did you mean the next picture? They both have the "glam shot" angled head. (I'm sure you didn't meant the portrait head that is second in the list! But the image was funny.)
About the mother and child: maybe the sculptor started with completing the mother's head and then did the rest of her body, starting with her feet. The completed parts met at her shoulders/neck part, so he had to compromise with anatomy to get it fit to each other. :-)
