Chiff Chaff Summer Visitors
The the bird shown here is suspected to be a Chiff-Chaff. Its song is very repetitive and persistent all day long. There seem to be more of them at the bottom of the hill.
I spotted an early Swallow on the 12th of April this year.

I have a bird post planned to! although not as cool as yours, I have a little yellow headed bird who is obsessed with loking in my side car mirror, he leaves a mess and slobbers on everything, its really funny
All of which would make fine designs for a Chinese brush painting.
