Snook, building a good day at the Races

My first memory of a Point-to- Point was my 5th Birthday, it poured with rain I couldn’t see the horses, I was too small, and we got stuck in the mud with hundreds of other cars trying to go home afterwards.

Easter Saturday is celebrated by some of us in the countryside by a day at the races. It is a wonderful day out for all if the weather is good and the police get the traffic sorted. This time they did very well and the sun shone for us all.

The day starts with terrier racing, hilariously funny.

On the more serious side it was a great day for my hosts The Snook Family who’s horses did well winning one and placed third in another.

Lots of friends were out including Mark Coreth with interesting news of a planned American and Arctic sculpting trip ahead of him.
